The Saturday Morning Ultra Team ventured to the other side of town this Saturday for our first field trip. We went to Cottonwood Valley where many of us have run before. Especially Shane, Mr. Cottonwood, Peterson. Just kidding man, I know that one stinks. I'll keep the nicknames flying until something sticks.

Everyone seems to have enjoyed the field trip so we'll make it a regular event. I know running out at Cottonwood feels like you're flying compared to Bootleg and it's good to change things up to keep up the motivation.

We are not going to have a group run next weekend because of the Desert Dash event. Most people will be out there running or volunteering. Shane and I are manning an aid station out there so if anyone wants to hang come on out. I just saw a message they are in need of some more volunteers so if anyone is willing contact

Anyone from SMUT who has an opportunity to assist Desert Dash with this race (either participating or volunteering), should take advantage and contact Glen or Dana. Good luck, Steven! I know you will not only dominate at the running events, but will destroy the competition at the shuffleboard venue.
